This course gives healthcare professionals the opportunity to enhance their understanding of the cardiovascular benefits of GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) beyond weight loss, including their effects on heart failure and cardiovascular risk factors, as well as familiarize themselves with key clinical trial data demonstrating their impact on major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). The course aims to address knowledge and skills gaps by promoting evidence-based integration of GLP-1RAs into patient treatment plans in line with guideline-directed therapy practices.
