2022 Cardiac Surgery Trainee Review Program
The 2022 Virtual Cardiac Surgery Trainee Review Program (CS TRP) is here!
We are happy to inform you that the program will be delivered integrally via Zoom Meeting. Our annual program provides trainees with realistic exposure to the Royal College examination process and offers an opportunity to receive feedback from faculty. It places your knowledge to the test. In addition, the program will include a mock written exam, faculty presentation on varied subjects, trial and research reviews and tips on how to prepare for oral exam.
February 21, 2022 - Release of Pre-work material
March 26, 2022 - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm EST - Live Session via Zoom
1:00 to 2:00 pm: Q&A on Pre-work
2:00 to 3:00 pm: CAD - Revascularization with Dr. Mackenzie Quantz
3:00 to 4:00 pm: Trials
4:00 pm: Social Hour
May 7, 2022 - 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm EDT - Mock Oral Exams
PGY 5 and 6 trainees are eligible to participate.
Please register online prior to the event.
Prior to the program, a separate e-mail will be sent with more information.
Mandatory Program pre-work:
February 21: online release of faculty pre-recorded presentations and online written exam
Certificates of Attendance:
Certificates of attendance will be sent to attendees by email after the TRP upon request.
The CCS reserves the right to use any photo or video image recorded at the Trainee Review Program (TRP). By registering for the TRP, you hereby acknowledge and agree that CCS may photograph and/or videotape you at this event, as well as use the photographs and/or videotapes in any publication or media for future educational and promotional activities/materials, without further notification or any compensation to you.
Canadian Cardiovascular Society TRP events are non-refundable. All event registrations are final sale.
